Global Citizenship Awards – The Global Citizenship Award recognizes Grade 12 students who have engaged in meaningful global citizenship activities aimed at making a more just and sustainable world. We recognize global citizens who understand that their actions make a difference, here and around the world and act as leaders in making positive change.

Model United Nations Assembly (MUNA) – High school students, with their counsellors/teachers, take on global citizenship as they model the United Nations Assembly at an event in Winnipeg, Canada. The 2016 event has ended – check back soon for 2017 registration information!

University of Manitoba Glassen Ethics Essay Contest – $1000 prize for best philosophical essay under 1000 words by a grade 11 or 12 student in Manitoba. Winning essay will be published in the Winnipeg Free Press. The deadline for 2016 has passed. Please check back for the 2017 contest question and entry information!

National Democracy Challenge 2015 – The Challenge question is “Show how to get Canadians Ready to Vote.” Deadline to register is November 9, 2015.

Children’s Peace Walk – Registration is now open for the 3rd Annual Childrens Peace Walk.
